One volume of photographs of historic homes and buildings in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire, taken by the Halliday Historic Photograph Co. in 1911. Subjects include the Adams family house in Quincy, Mass.; the birthplace of Edward Everett in Dorchester, Mass.; and the Standish family house in Duxbury, Mass., among many others.

Acquisition Information

The Halliday collection of photographs of New-England historic buildings was acquired by the Massachusetts Historical Society by purchase in January 1962.
