The MHS card catalogs and reference collections are located in the Saltonstall Room, named in honor of the Saltonstall Family, supporters of the Massachusetts Historical Society for nearly two centuries. To recognize and honor permanently the family's support, the recently renovated Saltonstall Room was rededicated in November 2001.
