Correspondence, postcards, poetry and essays, diaries, account books, recipe book, household inventory, drawings, sketchbooks, architectural notebooks, and printed material of Chandler family of Boston, Mass. Family members include: Mrs. B.B. Chamberlain, Augustus Porter Chamberlain, Helen E. (Chamberlain) Daland, Alice (Daland) Chandler, architect Francis W. Chandler, his son architect Henry Daland Chandler, archaeologist Herbert E. Winlock and wife Helen (Chandler), Dr. Edward F.W. Bartol and wife Ethel (Chandler). Correspondence mostly between family members; includes letters written from Europe by Francis W. and Alice D. Chandler; and Egypt (1912-1914) by archaeologist Herbert E. Winlock and wife Helen while on an archaeological expedition. Letters from Groton School, 1898-1902, by Henry D. Chandler; series of letters (1921-22) from actress Paulina Denton Whitson to H.D. Chandler, and letters (1919-23) from Major-General William Crozier to H.D. Chandler. Diaries (1821-1947) mostly of F.W. Chandler, with several of Alice (Daland) and H.D. Chandler, and one of Eliza Smith (1821). Poetry book (1843) of Helen E. (Chamberlain) Daland. Account books (1856-1911) of various family members. Sketchbooks and architectural notebooks with drawings by H.D. Chandler, 1938-47.
