This collection consists of one volume of
photographs of historic homes and buildings in Massachusetts, Connecticut,
Maine, and New Hampshire, taken by the Halliday Historic Photograph Co. in
1911.

One volume of photographs of historic homes and buildings in Massachusetts,
Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire, taken by the Halliday Historic
Photograph Co. in 1911. Subjects include the Adams family house in Quincy,
Mass.; the birthplace of Edward Everett in Dorchester, Mass.; and the Standish
family house in Duxbury, Mass., among many others.
The photographs in this collection are numbered in the order in which they
appear in the photograph album.
The Halliday collection of photographs of New-England historic buildings was
acquired by the Massachusetts Historical Society by purchase in January
1962.
