Notes on Cheryl Beredo's Presentation

Earlier this month, MHS Archival Fellow Cheryl Beredo gave a talk on the Society's program to ensure the preservation of records that document New England's environmental history and bring information about this history to the widest possible audience. A description of the program is now available online:

With support from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the Society is working with a range of individuals to identify the major environmental issues and events that have defined our region, develop priorities for collecting, and pursue the raw materials needed for the study of environmental history.
