Pen used by Abraham Lincoln to sign the Emancipation Proclamation Pen

President Lincoln presented the pen to abolitionist George Livermore, through Senator Charles Sumner, in January 1863. Col. William R. Livermore gave it to the Massachusetts Historical Society in 1911.
