I heard Mr. Jones and Mr. Wirts Commencement in reply to Mr. Webster. Mr. J. failed completely. In the evening I went to Mrs. Johnston’s. Party tolerably agreeable. Given to Miss Jane Ramsay, or in other words, Mrs. Jane Turnbull.
