3. Former Pennsylvania lieutenant governor Richard Penn was elected a member of Parliament in 1784. In 1772, in Philadelphia, he married Mary Masters, daughter of William and Mary Lawrence Masters ( DAB ). From AA2's description of the party (below), Mary Lawrence Masters was living with the Penns in London.
