[19 January 1765 continued] Spent the Evening at home with Mr. Inman Mrs.
Rowe & Sucky, --

20 Jany [1765] Sunday. A Pleasant day, Wind So West
was much out of order to day occasiond by
the Distress the Town is in occasiond principally
by the failure of Mr Wheelwright was sent for --
this forenoon on My Friend Jos. Scots affairs -- he
seems greatly distressd -- dind at home with Mr. Inman
Mrs. Rowe Wm & Gilbert Speakman & Sucky --
was sent for by Sheriff Greenleaf on John Scollays
affairs -- did not go to Church my mind too much
disturbd. Spent the Evening with Mr John Erving
at Mr Joseph Scots -- on his affairs with Mr John
Timmins Mr John [Scot?] Mr Thos Greene on My way
home calld at Nath Bethunes where I found
