Membership
A Membership or Student Membership is open to anyone interested
in supporting the Society's mission. Fellowship is by election only. The following
table explains the membership categories and provides links to join or renew
your Membership (or to renew your existing Fellowship.)
Join Online 
Click on one of the join or renew buttons
to process your membership or renewal only using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Dues
are processed on a secure server to guarantee your privacy. Please note it may
take up to three business days for the charge to show up on your credit card
account.
You will be asked to enter your contact information (or
to sign in, if you have previously registered), and then you will enter your
payment information. You can also choose to purchase a gift membership for a friend.

Your Student Membership includes:
- the MHS events calendar
- @MHS, the monthly MHS e-newsletter
- Miscellany, the semi-annual MHS print newsletter
- Massachusetts Historical Review, the Society's annual journal

| Introductory Membership |
For a limited time, we are pleased to offer a one-year introductory rate of $75 for first-time Members. Members who join at this special introductory rate will be invited to renew at the standard membership level of $150 after one year.
Introductory Membership benefits include:
- the same benefits as Student members, and
- invitations to four Members-only events per year.

Tax Deductability
MHS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Membership and Fellow dues are not tax deductible at this time. However, non-dues contributions are tax deductible within
legal limits and will be acknowledged by MHS.
