Inscription on the monument to his memory on Staten Island, N.Y.
1 p. (copy in an unidentified hand, with a heading in hand of Mrs. TBA: "Copied from the monument on Staten Island, New York."
- *1776–1828. Pastor of First Congregational Church in Beverly, Mass. Died on board the ship Othello, 7 June 1828. Monument erected by two of his former pupils, "in connection with an affectionate mourning parishoner."
