Autograph Letter Signed, 1 1/4 pages, 4to, The Hague, July 29, 1796, while Ambassador to the Netherlands, to Sylvanius Bourne of Amsterdam, asking him to render any service possible to two Algerians, Sidi Mustapha Ben Braim Rais and Sidi Mohomet Ben Mustapha Cogio, who are in Amsterdam. Adams asks that the Algerians be furnished with passage on an American vessel if possible, for their purposes, on the recommendation of the American Consul at Marseilles, Mr. Cathalan. The letter is in superb condition, with the integral address leaf, addressed in another hand. 350.00
