The color yellow indicates documents held in other manuscript collections at the MHS, public and private repositories, or the collections of private owners.
A collection of songs, usually with piano accompaniment, chiefly in Italian but some in French and English, copied from popular favorites of the day (Mozart, other Italian operas, &c.). In several hands, presumably of music teachers. An early item is initialed "M.E.R.," 18 April 1822; a group in French toward the end bears a notation that they were chosen and copied for "Madame L.C. Adams" to sing by "E.B.D.," Washington, April–May 1824. Next to last item is dated 21 April 1828.
