Abstract
This collection consists of the papers of historian James Ford Rhodes, 1890-1929, include correspondence, notes on Henry Adams, engagement books, commonplace books, notebooks, address books, and manuscripts and annotated published volumes on United States history. The collection also contains papers of M. A. DeWolfe Howe, including correspondence and the manuscript of his published biography of Rhodes, James Ford Rhodes: American Historian.
