Abstract
This collection consists of scrapbooks compiled by historian Justin Winsor related to his research and publications, ca. 1875-1897.
Collection Description
Papers of historian and librarian Justin Winsor (1831-1897) related to his research and publications, ca. 1875-1897. Mostly bound volumes containing letters and other papers pasted in, as well as bound volumes containing Winsor's published works, and other printed materials bearing upon his interests. Many of the bound pamphlets of his writings are interleaved with manuscript notes, newspaper clippings, and other scraps.

Summary Description of the Collection
The contents headings in the following table reflect, for the most part, titles on the spines of the volumes supplied by Winsor. The volume numbers reflect two numbering systems: the first number was supplied by an unknown archivist; the second number is the volume number supplied by Winsor when the volumes were bound. For example, Vol. 9/II was assigned the number "9" by the unknown archivist, and the "II" by Winsor. Please note that some volumes have no number at all. There are also numbers missing in the sequence.
