Abstract

This collection consists of the papers of Massachusetts lawyer, United States Attorney General, and Secretary of State Richard L. Olney, 1847-1934, including typescripts of speeches, printed pamphlets, legal cases and arguments, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, estate papers, and correspondence dealing with Olney's legal and political career. Correspondents include Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson, A. Lawrence Lowell, John G. Palfrey, and T. H. Perkins, among others.
