The grand chop, or permit, issued to an unidentified ship in Canton, China, June 1815. The document states that all proper duties have been paid for the ship and should not be required again should the ship be driven into another port due to bad weather. It also lists the number of crew members, swords, cannons, guns, bullets and gun powder on board. The translation accompanying the document identifies the captain of the ship as "Geli."
