Robert Treat Paine drafted this letter to Sampson Blowers, a Loyalist who served on the defense during the Boston Massacre trials, in response to Blower's letter of 30 December 1770. On the verso of the letter are case notes for the Dean family of Dighton, Mass. that are unrelated to the Massacre.
