A small oak keg most likely used while traveling.

A pegged oak cask with eight staves secured by four wood straps around oval ends with flattened bottoms. One aligned strapping tongue is visible in this image at the bottom of the keg, and there are three more on the other side. There is a raised octagonal bunghole carved from the uppermost stave. The rundlet lacks a strap and cork. Finely chiseled into one end is "IC".
