A lovely day.
Started at daylight &
crossed
Catoclin Mountain
& joined the Battery about
one mile East of
Middletown
at 8.A.M. While here one
of the men while watering
his horses in a mud hole
had his horses flounder in
the mud pitching him un
-derneath the horse. But after a great deal of difficulty
he extricated himself &
