Thomas Jefferson used this octagonal mahogany-and-poplar table in his library at Monticello. The drawers are labeled for filing papers alphabetically. Crafted by an unknown cabinet maker from the mid-Atlantic region and modeled after English rent tables, this piece is has been on loan to Monticello since 1928.
