21st Jany Monday. A pleasant morning Mr Cudworth
the Sheriff came here on Business & Mr Cary --
on an Affair of Wm Hasking & Co who shut up
this morning as did my Friend Joseph Scot
A General Consternation in Town, occasiond by these
Repeated Bankrupcies. That the General Court which
are now sitting determine to make an Act for --
the Relief of Insolvent Debtors-- which will be
very seasonable at this Time, dind at home
with Mr Inman Mrs. Rowe. Sucky. Wm. Speakman &
Andrews, Spent the Evening at the Royal Exchange
with the Grand Committee of Charity. being
