Manuscript page 9, "it intersects the Laurel Mountain..." (Queries 2, 3, and 4)

options

Page 9 had four tab attachments (9.1, 9.2, 9.3 and 9.4.) Attachment 9.1 is a slim piece of paper that only has text on one side and was affixed to the upper left-hand corner of Attachment 9.2. Although Attachment 9.1 only has writing on one side, like a paste-down, it must be flipped up, like a tab, to allow the reader to continue reading the text on Attachment 9.2. Attachments 9.2, 9.3 and 9.4 have writing on both sides. When reading this page, one must flip up Attachment 9.2 to read the verso before continuing on to the recto of Attachment 9.3. The same action must be completed for Attachments 9.3 and 9.4.The text flows directly from the verso of one attachment to the recto of the following attachment. At the end of Attachment 9.4, return to the full-page. overview of page 9.
