- Miscellaneous Papers of the Continental Congress, 1774–1789 (RG 360, M-332, roll 3)
- Note: This is a letter transmitting translations of the treaty between Morocco and the U.S. and other matters relating to the treaty, which according to a typed note from the Office of the Historical Adviser (Dept. of State), "Adams forwarded in a letter dated 27 Jan. 1787." Of the 11 items listed as transmitted the following appear on microfilm: translation of the letter from the Emperor of Morocco to the President of the Congress, and to the King of Spain; Barclay to JA and Thomas Jefferson, 18 Sept. 1786; and a copy of a commission for Francisco Chiappi as agent in Morocco.
