"The Adventures of a Nobody": a narrative, much of it in diary form, written out (evidently from earlier notes) in 1840 or later. (At head is date Washington 1st. July 1840.") Addressed to and extending in time from LCA's marriage 1797 to March 1812.
263 p., 4th and folio (numbered irregularly); plus a few pages of notes and several loose associated items, including directions to servants, biographical sketch of LCA from Mrs. Colvin's Weekly Messenger, 2 June 1827; CFA, Notes on LCA's life, ca. 1837, removed from CFA's Rough Dfts.
