    Crimson superfine wool, material from England, workmanship probably England, about 1770. Features two-stage double collar, top collar able to fold upright and button at neck while bottom collar is scalloped and ends in point at center back. Front closure has non-working buttonholes and wool-covered wooden buttons. Center back has series of four "buttonholes" (uncut design feature) at each side of hemmed center slit.
