Fine day. Wandered with Brooks in quest of a new church. Tried Bloomsbury Chapel but found it so crowded that we went into the adjoining one called Bedford Chapel where nobody was. The service all performed by one person, and the sermon much as usual. Nothing can much exceed the variety of these productions. Afternoon, I took a walk and called on Lord Lyndhurst and Mr Munchton Milnes. The former was out taking the air. The latter out of town. Mr
